Travel photography -- a paid vacation

Travel photography and travel writing is nice work if you can get it. One word of caution however. It is easy to get carried away with this lifestyle. I went to Hawaii with my brother Marty to do some writing and photography and we ended up staying a while ... for an entire year!

Ah well, such is life... It was a tough assignment, but somebody had to do it.

My brother Marty actually lived in Hawaii for about seven years. (Show off.)

• Magazine and Newspaper Articles
• Commercial Advertising
• Post Cards

The best plan is to have some potential assignments lined up before you go. That way you have some ideas of what photographs you want to take, and some possible buyers waiting for you upon your return.
